Activities

While meetings tend to focus on lectures from invited speakers and professional development, socials and intramural sports offer members a way to kick back.  At events like the Annual Chili Cook-Off and the Spring Sailing Social, members have the oppurtunity to meet other students and talk to faculty in an informal atmosphere.

ANS sponsors intramural sports teams including sand volleyball, basketball, flag football, and soccer.  Member interest guides the teams that are hosted.  If you are interested in participating, contact an officer today!

ANS activities are described in more detail in the Glasstone Report.  This is an annual report about the activities of TAMU-ANS that is submitted at the national level to compete for student section of the year.
