TAMU-ANS is committed to helping members find internships in the nuclear industry. This page serves as a repository of documents that our members should find useful in applying for internships. For more information about finding internships in nuclear, be sure to attend TAMU-ANS Professional Development Workshops. TAMU-ANS hosts these events to provide information about internships, scholarships, graduate school, conferences, and more.
In addition to internships, there are a number of activities that are beneficial to participate in. The Nuclear Engineering Student Delegation (NESD) represents Nuclear Engineering students at the national level to congressmen, the DOE, the NRC, and other organizations. The Undergraduate Research Scholars Program, the Undergraduate Research Fellows Program, and the Undergraduate Research Summer Grant are excellent ways to get involved in research as an undergraduate. The Certificate in Business Management is a great way to add to your resume and learn about business principles. The program has been described by some as a "test drive for an MBA."
