Become a member of the ANS society at Texas A&M and take full advantage of opportunities such as internship interviews, national conference attendance, and more. To become a member just print the application, form and submit it to Jennifer Koop. You can also pay your memership dues to Kathryn Wright if you haven't done so.

2008 ANS Student Conference

Thanks to all your hard work, the A&M student chapter has been chosen to host the student conference in spring 2008! Planning has already started for the student conference that A&M will host in spring 2008. If you're interested in being part of the planning, talk to Matt Gidden.

Mentor Opportunities

Interested in being part of our student mentor program? Upper level students will help those new to the department learn about the facilities, resources, and functions. We are in need of volunteers to perform the mentoring duties listed below.

Mentor Duties:

1.) Meet with your mentoree in a social setting so you can get acquainted. (The Beginning of Year party is a great option.)

2.) Make them aware of the following:
    a. Facilities
        i. Nuke Lounge
        ii. Nuke Computer Lab
    b. Resources
        i. Nuke Login
        ii. Nuke Listserve
    c. Functions
        i. ANS/HPS Meetings
        ii. Nuke Intramurals
        iii. Nuke Parties - Gala, BOY, etc.

  • E-day at the Mall
  • SEC Career Fair
  • MSC Open House
  • Other Nuke, Engineering, and A&M Events
